Yes, we all have a friend who is or has been involved with a married man. Perhaps we have been guilty ourselves. Even the words of our mothers Dont get involved with a married man or youll get hurt rings loud but seems to fade into oblivion when Mr. Smooth enters our space.

So now that you are involved (I mean your friend is involved) with Mr. I wanna have my cake and eat it to, what are the tell tale signs that he is never going to leave his wife.

1. Its been a year (or more!)

If youve been involved in this affair (sorry honey theres no kind way to put it) for a year or more waiting for him to get his business in order, then darling its likely never to happen.

2. Its not the money

Arent you worth more to him than his losing half his net worth? As soon as I can move some of my assets out of her name, Ill leave. Sure! Remember you also have some assets to bring to the relationship besides enhancing his wellbeing.

3. Ill wait til the kids are older

How old do the kids need to be? All kids grieve when parents split no matter what age.

4. He spends more nights away from you.

I know he doesnt want to create suspicion at home. Soon hell leave her and youll be together.forever! Hmmmmmmmm read point 1 again.

5. The flowers, dinners out or weekends away slow or fade away.

Ah youre now apart of the furniture. The romance is dwindling. Perhaps its just as well you didnt take the big step.
