"If you wear a copper bracelet it will help prevent you from getting arthritis." This was what I used to hear during the 1950's and 1960's. Now that I have done some research I believe that this came from the work done by Georges Lakhovsky in France during the 1920's. His discovery came from a sort of accident, as many great discoveries do. He was doing research to try and find a cure for Cancer and he had a theory about background radiation being the cause of Cancer. To try and prove his theory and discover whether the radiation emanated from inside the body or outside the body he set up an experiment using a plant, given a form of plant cancer, putting a copper wire around the plant and through an ebonite rod. He used 5 plants that had the plant cancer but put the copper around only one of the plants. The four plants without the copper wire all died but the one with the copper wire thrived. According to his book "The Secret of Life" by Georges Lakhovsky he then proceeded to put the copper wires on animals and then people with great success for many different problems. Not only did it improve their illnesses but helped them get a general overall physical improvement. The only problem with the book was that he didn't give any specifics about how to make the copper wire to wear. Having been fascinated with the beneficial effects of frequencies on the body (which Lakhovsky discovered this was all based on) I proceeded to try and develop my own Lakhovsky Coil. After doing this I first put it on my cat that had problems and they were relieved. Then I started putting it on people and found that it relieved stiff necks, arthritis stiffness and pain, and back pain from slipped disks. Lakhovsky's discovery was truly amazing since it seemed to not only relieve specific pain but all pain (I live totally pain free and I'm 60). You can read all about Georges Lakhovsky, his work, and how I developed my Lakhovsky Coil at my web sites. Also included is free instruction on how to make the Lakhovsky Coil. It is so easy to make even a grandmother can do it and the cost for all the materials (you can get at your local stores) is less than $5.00. |
