If I am calling you by the wrong name, I apologize. I have been angry with you for a while and I want to know why. YOU believe in a cause. I believe in my causes too. So we start off on an equal footing.

You are probably either Sunni or Shiitethus, Muslims. A faith that most people of the world do not understand, especially me.

I am a non-religious person who believes in God, Christ and brotherhood. I believe in people and in peace and love. I believe in your commitment to your vision/cause and with this letter I seek to understand you. I did not say better understand cause I do not understand at all.

YOU are firm believers and followers of Allah. YOU believe in the precepts of the Quran or Koran. Since you are willing to die for your beliefs, you then likely believe in the literal translations of the Koran. You do not doubt one word, or one sentence written in that book. YOU also believe in your Mullahs interpretations and those of Al Zarquawi and Osama Bin Lauden. I respect that.

I am guessing that you wished all people on earth followed the Koran and lived by its guidelines. I am further guessing that you believe anyone who does not live by such rules must be considered an infidel and killed.

I am not a trickster. I would like to help you reach your ends and at the same time, save the lives of my brothers around the world. I am not a Christian nor Jew. I am however, a resident of the USA and as I understand it, you automatically wish to kill me.

Here is what I do not understand:

You want all people on earth to be Muslims, and create a literal Nation of Islam. That means everyone lives by the Koran or dies. I just want to understand.

You want to punish all infidels and that means killing them all. If those infidels are in a mosque learning to become Muslims, they are not Muslims NOW and therefore, must die now.

The children of Muhammad were Sunnis and Shiites. I do not remember how that came to be. Jesus was either a false profit or a real man and real son of God. Jesus believed in forgiveness and love and he died on a cross for the sins of all men. He was not permitted to marry or have children as he had a purpose when born to represent all people. The Koran does not recognize his existence with that purpose but only that of Mohammad. Is that correct?

Here is where much of the world has a problem understanding; one man is believed to have died for all men and was single as he was not to have a mortal family. HIS mother was born of the immaculate conception and his earthly father accepted that. Jesus was seen by millions of people providing miracles. Mohammad was not found to be providing any miracles and had a family and did not die for mankind. Mohammad had many enemies and Jesus had few.

It is a known fact that Jews and Christians pray differently, live different types of life-styles but that they do respect each other. In the last thousand years, Jews and Christians have tried to live peacefully with each other.

In those same years, Sunnis and Shiites have hated each other [followers of Jesus actually do not understand why Shiites and Sunnis hate each other]!

Next, as many Americans understand it, either [all?] Russia, America, Britian, Italy, Phillipines, etc., have sought peace with the rest of the world and felt threatened by huge weapons. These UN members felt that Russia should not have invaded Afghanistan and thus, went to Afghan citizens, esp Osama Bin Lauden and trained and paid him to fight Russians which the Osama faction did successfully. When the Russians left, the Osama faction decided to re-design Afghan life so that it followed the precepts literally as was taught in the Koran. Doing so meant millions of female citizens lost all their rights and that [inconsequential] Mullahs gained political power as a result. Soon, all places where [infidels] Christians lived, according to Muslims these Christians must be eliminated.

Am I understanding most of it correctly?

YOU Osama, and many Americans, hate the Saudi royal family for different reasons and thus, you left your position there and began preparing to dismantle your government. When you, Osama, found that the US Government and the British government were friends of the Saudi family, you, Osama decided you had to HURT Americans and Brits so that, consequentially, the governments of Britian and the US would be hurt too.

Is that correct? What I do not understand is, hurt in what way? Is it true that you feel the only way to live a clean life is to follow the Koran literally?

Does it state if a referee is to exist? Reason I ask that iswhat if all Americans became Muslims tomorrow, and became the Shiite that you want or the Sunni that you want. [Most Americans have no idea how these two groups are different].

Here is my predicamentif all Americans became Muslims tomorrow, and they became either Shiites or Sunnis whichever you like, they are all still Americans. Is it that you want to kill all Americans or just Americans that are not Muslims?

WHEN on a trip anywhere, is the only way to identify an American that is not a Muslim is that he does not wear the gown and headdress that is associated with SHIITE MUSLIMS or Sunni Muslims? I need to better understand this. I ask because both Shiite and Sunnis are being killed in Iraq every day. Or are only those who are helping Americans being attacked?

Lets assume for a minute that you are wanting only Sunni Muslims everywhere. If there is a corrupt Sunni Muslimis there an acknowledged court to judge that person? And according to the Koran, what actions are considered a corruption of the Koran?

If all people on earth became Sunni Muslims tomorrow, would that make you happy?

Another puzzlement. The American president Bush says he erred by not finding the weapons he felt were threatening the world and now, since you and your followers are very concerned with a Christian establishment being created in Iraq, that those Christians must be killed and that Iraq must be returned to the Iraqi citizens.

If the American forces left Iraq tomorrow, the social and economic group called the Baathists would return to power.

I am guessing that the Baathists are the political part or economic part of the Muslim world. I am guessing this because Socialists sprout up wherever Muslims have power. A socialist system takes hold best whenever a religious system controls the environment. While capitalism seems to rein supreme in the Arab nations, I think it is more socialism that reins because without payments to officials, transactions above an arbitrary number are not conducted. Capitalism does not permit such things in a democratic environment.

Thus, if the Americans were to leave Iraq and Afghan tomorrow, most Americans and Brits think the bombings around the world, and the kidnappings would not stop.

Can you confirm this for us?

If in fact, monster weapons are not part of any picture the Muslims have, if suicide bombings are ONLY because of the Iraqi and Afghan wars, if the Zarquawi and Osama groups could guarantee these things, then American and British forces could be removed from both nations immediately.

But do you really want or demand a world of Sunni Muslims only? If not, why is Indonesia becoming all Muslims and why is Iraq and other nations becoming all Muslim?

Please clarify things so that the citizens of Britian and the US can guide our governmental leaders.
