One of the most interesting things, which happens in business is when people who do not know what on Earth they are talking about tell those of us who really do that we are unprofessional. However, what I find fascinating is that someone who is full of BS and will not see the world for what it is or face reality assumes that their professionalism is more important than the facts. Where does professionalism come from? Well, true professionalism comes from respect. However, one has to ask if you should respect someone who does not deserve your respect. Someone who is full of it and purporting preposterous advice or BS and is basically telling falsehoods or rather lying to you does not deserve your respect. Therefore it is not professional to pretend to respect someone who does not deserve your respect and you don't actually respect in your mind or heart. To do so would be trickery and fakeism. If you allow someone who is lying and BSing you and either pretend not to notice or let it go on, then in fact you are lying to them. How can you call that professional? If all humans run around and lie to each other how can that be called professionalism. Most liberals believe that you should be professional and respect other people. This is not true and you should not respect anyone who has not earn your respect. Tolerance is important and tolerance is the fair way to act in any society or civilization. But respect must be earned and to give someone respect to does not deserve it and you both know it is not professionalism. It is simply to human beings lying to each other. And there is nothing professional about being a liar. Unless you are a lawyer and you do it for a profession. Some people just can't take a joke. |
