Niagara Falls Hotels

Author: Eddie Tobey

Hotels are numerous in Niagara Falls, and your choice will depend on the purpose you are there for: business or pleasure. Several major hotel chains have properties there that cater to upper-middle-class business travelers. Among them, you will come across Crown Plaza, Holiday Inn, Hilton, Doubletree, Marriott, Radisson, Ramada, and Sheraton. Some of them, like Comfort Inn, Hampton, Best Western, Days Inn, Howard Johnson, and Thriftlodge, cater to budget-conscious business travelers.

There are a few like the Brock Plaza, or luxury establishments like the Pillar and Post Inn, that do not belong to a chain. You can also find a number of smaller and less costly hotels in the area.

The features will vary from hotel to hotel, ranging from airport shuttles or business centers to Internet access or a whirlpool bath. If you need any particular feature, inform the hotel staff before booking.

There are hotels to suit every budget in Niagara Falls, from the ones that cost you just a few dollars per day to the luxurious Chateau Laurier, right beside the falls.

Prices vary from season to season. Summer is expensive, while fall and winter (of course excluding Christmas and New Year) is less costly. Most hotels also charge more over holidays and long weekends.

If you are in Niagara Falls on a business trip, you are likely to choose a hotel near the falls, which are close to the casinos and the convention facilities. There are also a number of hotels scattered in the different parts of the city. Strangely, you wont find many hotels near the airport.

Most of the hotels in Niagara Falls, New York are economy hotels, and do not offer a satisfactory view of the falls. On the other hand, hotels in the Fallsview District of Niagara Falls, Canada are expensive, and offer breathtaking views of both the American and Canadian falls.
